Transmit Consulting, Inc (TCI) is a software architecture and systems
integration firm based in San Diego, CA. We specialize in
providing small and medium size businesses technology and business

We provide implementation services for commercial and open source
products ranging from IBM's WebSphere and DB2 product line to the open
source Compiere ERP & CRM and J-Boss Application Server. We
are developers on several open source projects and we run our business
on open source.
Technology.
Our principal consultants have been working in the industry for over 20
years. We've seen technologies come and go, and we've survived
and thrived in this environment by knowing how to apply technology,
when to apply technology, and perhaps just as importantly, when not to
apply technology.
We work with a variety of leading-edge buzzwords, including Java/J2EE,
C/C++, Linux, XML, CORBA, JMS, EAI, B2B, SOA, ESB, Spring, Hibernate, etc. In systems
integration work, we deal with various middleware technologies such as
IBM WebSphere Business Integration Server, Innovis Alliance Manager,
and various open source integration platforms. When we manage
projects for ourselves and our clients, we focus on industry standard
processes, for example RUP, Extreme, and Agile development
processes. We use software architecture patterns where
applicable, and we were architecting SOA solutions before they were
known as SOA solutions.
Business.
TCI has applied technology solutions to a wide swarth
of business industries, including retail, wireless telecom, oil patch,
aerospace, parimutuel betting, publishing, medical, real estate,
manufacturing, logistics and transportation to name a few. We
know how to apply technology to business, when common business
processes apply to an industry, what is unique about an industry, and
more importantly what is unique about a business (your business!) in an
industry.
We understand how to leverage technology to enhance your competitive
advantage. We're a business, too, something a lot of consulting
companies tend to forget. We have many of the same needs as your
business, and by constantly applying the technologies we work with to
